Um, and it's not like a doomsday piece, though.

Like he he uh this is a good quote at the end.

He says, What gives me hope is knowing our culture is asking questions only the

gospel can answer.

Questions of identity, purpose, meaning, and hope are all Jesus questions.

Great.

It's like Yogi Berra said, predictions are hard, especially about the future.

Um so okay, and here's another thing that I thought this is my cynical side when I'm reading this is how much of these predictions sometimes are wish fulfillment.

Like, you know, things that we want to see happen, because presumably, whether this is Scott or someone else, they probably want to see a return to smaller intermittent gatherings and house churches, and that's great, but sometimes that can sabotage your predictions.

It was a smaller conference, maybe two or three hundred.

Uh, this was maybe 15 years ago.

And at one point in the conference they said, okay, if you think the future of the church is going to be small intimate gatherings, house church kind of stuff, go to this side of the room.

Right.

They had us all split up.
