I frequent their parks and live around the corner now from Universal Studios Hollywood.
Wow.
You brought up the fact that they're jockeying with each other right now.
They are engaged in their own business war of sorts.
And this started with the Disney MGM Studios theme park because as legend has it, Paramount, which was at the time run by Michael Eisner, was looking to get involved with Universal's theme park operations.
They had this idea to do a studio park in Florida.
And when Michael Eisner goes across the street to Disney...
Lo and behold, he also has an idea for a studio based project in central Florida.
And, you know, there were legal ramifications to this.
Yeah.
So Disney got there first.
But then with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opening in 2010, as you alluded to, it was the first time that an outside entity had challenged Disney at their own game.
This was an incredible experience.
Immersive land, unlike anything anybody had ever seen with bespoke dining, with next level attractions, including the use of this robotic arm technology called Kuka.
That is sort of looks like kind of like what you'd see in a auto parts factory with a with a, you know, a giant arm kind of moving a ride vehicle around.
Right.
What made that super important, too, is that Disney had the Harry Potter license before Universal got it.
And they kind of fumbled the ball.
And Universal picked it up and said, oh, we'll take care of that and did it.
And I heard stories that initially that Harry Potter license was only for the United States.
