could not have gone better to be honest it was tremendous both games were sold out we uh you know we had 19 000 something the first game 19 000 a little bit less the next game that was by design because there's a couple of areas that we might have put too many people in the first game then we decided to to fix that a little bit um but no tremendous and the city of Kelowna

All the fans were just happy with it.

That first game was electric.

Then we continued.

The next day, we had a breakfast with the team, and there was a couple of thousand people that showed up on a Sunday morning to downtown for a breakfast.

We had a gala on the beach.

We had a bunch of football programming that we managed.

Then concerts on the water again before both home games, plus some free concerts along the way, plus a festival that went through the entire week downtown as well.

And then Canada Day, if you've been to Canada Day,

in Kelowna you know it's crazy there so you couple that in in the middle of these two games and it was just it was just really really good I've got I've got some notes from people that I didn't even meet that are sending me emails saying Dwayne the we just want to thank you for bringing this to Kelowna it was this two of my single best days in my establishments I've ever had was on game days

So economic impact is immense and we made a difference in that community.

And they made a difference for us because we felt like, you know, it was second home for sure.

Well, so that's a loaded question, and I will answer it.

First off, we pride ourselves in being BC's team.

And we talk about that all the time.

We are the BC Lions.

We want to do things across this province.

And it's something that we actually really focus on.

And it's not about not playing at BC Place.

It's just going here for camp and going and doing a program here and just outreach to the community
