But it does feel like soccer is kind of, you know, it's not going to catch NFL and basketball, but it does feel like it's just solidly cementing its place as the third sport.

yeah I mean I'm happy to accept both those missions to be honest but um yeah I was a bit disappointed they they dropped the two goal scorers from the first game which what was the thinking I don't know Tony Popovich uh went full Guardiola but um yeah they were very passive in the first half I think

America's shape did sort of flummox them a bit.

It basically stopped the wingbacks from progressing, which is what was the sort of strength of the team against Turkey.

They did turn up in the second half.

They brought on Irenkunde.

They looked a lot more aggressive.

I mean, the last 10 minutes threatened to be too aggressive slash quite fun aggressive.

There were a few.

Tackles, Balogun got in a bit of a scrap at one point with a big suitor.

But I think if they'd shown that sort of energy the whole game, maybe they could have got something out of it.

But, you know, they went two down quite early and it just felt a bit dead.

But, you know, with three points on the board, they've got a really good chance still of getting through to the knockout.

So, you know, it wasn't a disaster.
