At least this is a concrete transfer story.
We know it's happened.
And we've got this guy, and he's obviously very competent.
He doesn't necessarily grab headlines, but he has been relied on by a number of clubs doing decent things, getting promotion.
Very important, obviously.
And he's been a part of three set-ups that have achieved that.
So he knows his way around.
And there is one other thing.
We did a bit of research and we couldn't find any history to speak of of injuries.
And do you know what?
Players who are capable of staying injury free are going to become increasingly important and valuable commodities to clubs as football goes forward.
We shall see him soon.
No question about that.
And let's hope he does get us off, up rather, out of our seats.
