you are not the clouds you are not the weather you are the sky and in my opinion the art of meditation is voice-verified

using this metaphor and understanding over a lifetime of being very reactive to our thoughts and embodying them in a way such that, as I say, they feel like they are yourself, that they control you. voice-verified

you have placed yourself in a position under the clouds, looking up at the sky. voice-verified

So we all do. voice-verified

But the practice of meditation is trying to voice-verified

place yourself above those clouds, as if you are flying in a plane, looking down at the weather. voice-verified

The fluffy clouds and you can see the storm clouds raining in also. voice-verified

They no longer rain down upon you. voice-verified

You can see them raining. voice-verified

But they do not rain upon you. voice-verified

This is the profundity of meditation. voice-verified
