Certainly in the first year, I was hopeful of playing a bit more.
But in the second year, they were very much up front.
I played the first game of the season.
We got hammered.
They just said to me straight up, and Nigel Lappin was very good.
Look, if Hawk's out, you'll play.
But if Hawk plays, we don't want to play in the same team.
So I knew straight up.
So I was, as I said, I was semi-retired.
I was sort of like, well, you know, it is what it is.
So I was able to sort of sit back from the emotion of playing and look at the way they go about it.
And then I was there part-time in a coaching.

So I got more access to Chris because you don't get much access to him as a player.

He's very pragmatic and I reckon he wrestles with –
