There are two remarkable things about this.

And it just shows that the simplistic model that we have

in the Cartesian theater model, but in general, it's just totally untenable.

And that is kind of freaky when you think about it.

it also kind of assumes that there's a real fact of the matter a real memory a real linear process of substituting one thing for another

I didn't think about this as I was studying, but it's coming up now.

It's like what he's pointing to is that consciousness isn't, I don't even know how to say this guy, so I'm just going to give me a little latitude, but that it goes back to this idea of patterns or structures.

It's like we can only experience things structurally.

It has to be structured for us to experience it.

So just think of it this way, right?
