Yeah, I mean, it was definitely interesting because, you know, in baseball, until you're a free agent, it's basically, you know, you're dictated to, you're told where to go, and then you have no choice in anything.
So, you know, teams coming to me and, you know, having to be nice and, you know, give me a pitch and all that was pretty refreshing.
Yeah, I mean, I want to be on a team that can win and go deep in the playoffs, and I wanted to be on a team that could develop me and help me be more consistent.
So aside from the financial implications, those were the top two on my radar.
Yeah, I think that takes time.
It's just getting to know everybody and spending time around people.
And yeah, I mean, really just developing relationships like in any other scenario.
Yeah, it's felt good.
I mean, I feel like there's a lot more room for some more consistent execution, but the results have been decent.
I've given us a chance to win every time, which I'm happy with, but at the end of the day, I do want more out of myself.
I'd like to go a little deeper and be in the strike zone more, but...
It's been a solid start.
I wouldn't say it's been a spectacular start, but it's been really solid.
Yeah, that's something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
And I just feel like it kind of alleviates pressure off the fastball and the slider.
And ultimately, I think the more pitches you can have, they can go for strikes, and the more they have to worry about, the better it makes you.
So really, it's just for me trying to become a bit more of a complete pitcher.
Yeah, I feel like at some point you kind of talk to every other pitcher about what's working, whether it's how your body's moving or pitch grips or whatever.
I've talked to Max a lot, Gosman.
I mean, guys that have had success and do a certain thing that I admire or I want to do better, I'm definitely going to pick their brain and see what they do.
