Mechanically, I'm in a good spot.
And then I'm taking the days in between serious.
So I'm just focused and trying to take that in every start.
Yeah, I feel more versatile now.
I feel like I'm mixing in more variety of pitches and I feel like I'm getting them to better spots too.
Um, you know, it feels like, you know, some, some days in the past would really just be very slider fastball heavy.
And if I didn't have one or the other, it would be, you know, a massive grind where now I can mix in, you know, a first pitch curve ball and go to sweeper and go to sinker and, and things like that, that I haven't historically done very well in the past.
And that's helping me, um, you know, just diversify my pitches and, and, uh, be less predictable.
Yeah, a lot of it's honestly learning from failure.
Like last year, I didn't have a great year.
And in 2023, I didn't have a great year.
And it's like sometimes losing and kind of assessing what went wrong can set you up in the future.
So I think just coming off of last year, I just knew that there had to be tweaks and changes or I was going to have a repeat of that.
I mean, I love pitching at Wrigley.
I think Wrigley and Fenway are two of the coolest stadiums in all of baseball.
So I love Chicago as a city as well, so I always enjoy being here.
But I don't have any hard feelings about being traded or anything.
But I have a lot of respect for the organization, and they have a talented lineup and team.
So I think I just always try to come ready, because I know if I don't, it's going to be a long day.
Yeah, I mean, he's nasty.
