Um look, I mean it's a bit of a tough economic story, I think, is the the biggest one and uh one of changing kind of generational trends.
Um look I mean in terms of health wise, most New Zealanders are d drink moderately anyway, so uh it's not really about that.
What we're seeing is that people are looking to maybe spend a little bit less money in tough economic times and also you know the cost of production's definitely gone up over that time.
So
Oh look, I mean it's a bit of both.
Like you're seeing a generational shift where younger people are kind of less likely to go out to the pub, maybe less like more likely to go out for a run.
Um, you know, a few are different things in that space.
So people are making different decisions around consumption.
Well look you know, we don't record drug consumption might be to alcohol consumption, so it's a hard one to say.
Yeah, I think the uh the industry's been pretty agile, especially the beer industry, and looking at kind of those trends and seeing that the zero percent beers are a a huge part of the market now.
Um you see every brewery's kind of got one in their stable.
Uh also the low carbohydrate beers are definitely a big one.
I mean the biggest selling beer in New Zealand is a low carb beer at the moment.
Um so there is there's kind of lean into that sort of thing.
But also, you know, I think we do see potential kind of balancing out over the next few years.
It's you know, it's been tough economically as things kind of
settle down and people have a few more dollars in their pocket, we'll see hopefully a bit of growth again.
Um people going back out to hospitality venues and supporting them.
Um and hopefully less inflation means, you know, lower lower excise tax increases which obviously hurt as well.
