Uh but Steve, you mentioned Phyllis Schlafley.

And when I visited with the president just 10 days ago when I was leaving uh government service, we talked about Phyllis.

Uh he loved Phyllis and she loved him.

But you know, she gave a talk, Steve, two and a half weeks after 9/11 at Eagle Council.

And you, if I sent you the audio and you can listen to it, she said two things.

This was an immigration failure.

She said these people shouldn't.

Have been in here, what the reports were.

This is two weeks after.

And she said a failure of our immigration system.

And she said, secondarily, don't let them use this as an opportunity for the government to intrude on our rights because they failed on an immigration issue, on controlling immigration.

And of course, she was right as usual on both those counts.

She was right on most things.

Uh, and uh, and she was uh

uh uh you know proven right over these decades.

But it's a it's a hard week uh for me.

Uh it all comes back and uh and I'm glad we're starting the week, like you said, with uh I by the way, I I don't like never forget.

I like the phrase we remember.

It's a positive way.

We remember uh has like to me it has a sort of biblical overture.
