Why did they want that?
Because they realize Roth IRAs bring in money.
It's a revenue raiser.
It's the golden goose.
It's the magic provision our legislators have been looking for for over 200 years.
Something that brings in money and people like it.
Yeah.
The greatest money-making asset any individual can possess is time.
And young people have more of it than anyone else, and they should be capitalizing on it.
That's why the Roth IRA is perfect for younger people.
This is not a maybe or should or could.
This is an absolute.
This is a slam dunk.
Younger people, younger workers should only be using the Roth IRA because they can take advantage of all those decades of not tax-deferred but tax-free compounding.
All right.
Well, Roth conversions, I believe, are more valuable.
And remember, the Roth conversion is where you already have a fund of money, say an IRA or a 401k, and you convert that to a Roth.
Now you have to pay the tax to convert.
