That's very well known.

I think people need there to be a conspiracy because otherwise the answer is, which is what I believe, which is none of these companies had a plan.

I think Sam Altman and Dario Amadei thought we're going to throw a bunch of money at this and then God will come out.

Money, money, so much money, and then they will have ASI, AGI, whatever they call it, and then it happened.

And then that didn't.

They hit the diminishing returns at the end of 2024, and since then they've been kind of harnessing non-LLM stuff on top of LLMs in an attempt to make them do stuff.
