There's problems within the Indian community as well, you know, and their attitudes towards women, you know, particularly Western women.
It's, yeah, it's, yeah.
A lot of judgmental people probably look down their nose and think that anyone could drive trucks.
There's actually quite a bit to it.
You've got to plan your trips.
You've got to plan your fuel.
If you're running it as a business, like a subcontractor arrangement, then you want to be profitable.
There's a lot of planning that has to go into it, where you're going to pick up a load, take it back, blah, blah, blah.
They came in and they offered to work for Peanuts.
And like you said, their level of training and their standards that they come from over here, we have different standards.
And there's been quite a lot of serious, horrendous, fatal accidents where innocent people have been killed through the negligence of Indian truck drivers.
And I'll be called a racist for saying that.
I know that.
But I don't give a fuck.
half the money you have to pay yeah they split it between them they both live out yeah look you gotta look in some ways you gotta hand it to them because you know family is a big part of their culture and i mean like a suburb i used to live in in sydney uh my next door neighbor i live next door to an indian family and you know the the father the bloke um my age you know he was a nice bloke you know what i mean but they had there were two families living in the one house yeah
They had the garage converted and because I could see over my back fence, not that I was spying on them, but just for the elevation, I could see down in their backyard in the back roll it or sometimes they'd have it open and you could see they'd set up like blue board partitions in there.
But they had two families living in the one home, obviously, so one could save and get the capital to then go and get their own home.
And you're right, you know, they do.
They pull their money, they buy servos, and then they'll, you know, and that's kind of the thing that they do.
