This is The Eds with Eddie Judge and Edwin Arroyave.
Welcome back to The Eds.
I'm Eddie Judge.
And I'm Edwin Arroyave.
And today we're going to dive into how reality TV affected our personal lives and how we've seen it affect other couples.
We want to explore this interesting topic to learn whether it was a blessing or a burden.
You ready?
You know, the biggest effect, I think, is that it's made us really aware of who we are as people and hyper-aware of who the other person is, right?
And what I mean by hyper-aware is...
I know the person on TV is not my wife because she's creating this bigger than life character.
And the person I know off TV is a totally normal, wonderful person, loving, caring, great mom.
a wonderful wife and friend.
And it's been interesting to see her go back and forth, right?
And see the dynamic and see where it really shines and when it really
hurts her you know what i mean and i think the biggest lesson is obviously that i've taken away is that anytime somebody talks about her as a mom that really puts her in a funk and you know even though the shit that's being said on tv is not true it still affects her in real life right so another thing i've noticed is
You know, when it comes to business or work or companies or whatever, you know, you have you in my days of working, you go to the office, you do your job and then you come home and you leave work at the office and you come home and you live your life at home.
Right.
And the dynamics have been we live, sleep, eat.
fart everything happens here at the house so it's always always a reality tv kind of like you're we always have to be on right and to boot anytime we go out in the public we always have to be aware of our surroundings and it's it's sort of exhausting in a sense but it also really made us hyper aware of the kind of character we need to to to be and not not in a way where i have to fake it
but in a way where I have to be cognizant of my, what I say, how I say it, how I treat people, you know, perfect example here is like driving down the street and, you know, somebody pisses me off.
