where I really got the bug.

We had a new youth pastor who was good friends with a writer who was like a writer in Hollywood and on the first Jurassic Park and like all this type of stuff.

And he had written these really impactful plays that all dealt with teenage issues of bullying and suicide and all these kind of like, you know, dark things, partying and, you know,

And ultimately, you know, coming to faith, but it was very just driven of real life and what real kids, you know, were going through.

And he was like, I want you to be the lead.

And so I did.

And we ended up doing three or four of them.

And we had packed houses and more than like our school theater and community theater.

And that's when I had really got the bug.

But at that time, didn't think I was going to move to Hollywood to pursue it as a career.

I didn't realize your dad was a pastor.

I mean, look at that.

I learned something new.

You didn't?

Uh-uh.

Oh, my gosh.

So my grandfather was a Baptist pastor, and then he says they got sick of me, and they kind of kicked him out.

He was more into a loving God and loving Jesus and a Jesus that still does miracles today.

And so...

He started his own church and then my dad took it over and is now in the process of handing it off to someone else.
