How long were you married before you got on the show?
says what 2017 so at that point we were six years six years okay so it's not a long time but uh definitely what's what's the uh saying uh the seven year itch like when you get to seven years things start to happen it didn't happen for me so eight years together

I think I have two answers for that.
One, yeah, I think getting too involved on the show will put a little bit of strain on your relationship because watching my wife navigate through the show, if I was to get involved in the show, it would just put more pressure on her to protect me or to navigate through the already drama that comes with the show.
I don't want her to deal with me on the show.
I want her to deal with what's going on on the show and the girls and the trips and all that stuff.
So I don't think it's a good idea.
And the couples that do break up on the show, I think the only thing I can conclude is that there were already cracks in the relationship.
that were not mended or fixed or worked on right um like you worked on your relationship when you came on the show you saw the cracks and and you made an effort to plug them up fix them and or you know even tape them up you know temporary patch them up but it's not like you just got so involved to get in her way you led her
Fly.
You let her, you gave her, you intended to give her the wings to be who she wanted to be.
And I think that's really what works.
