What I'm seeing on my feed, which might be different from what you're seeing on yours, but I am seeing people say it was more intricate or slightly more complex than the first.
And there is something about the way you hold on to this first movie.
See, I didn't find the first movie perfect.
I think it's perfect.
There's a reason actually that I didn't watch it for 10 years.
Like I watched it once and like never went back to it until recently.
And when I went back to it and watched it a couple of weeks ago, I was like, oh, this is a good movie.
Like, this is a great movie.
But I don't think I have this, like, otherworldliness about the first where I really didn't want the second to have any impact on my experience of the first.
Like, I don't hold it that closely.
And I didn't find it higgledy-piggledy.
I thought it was clever and incisive and so modern in a way that wasn't cringe.
You know, so often we talk about this a little bit on the show in books or films where
when something is telling a modern story and then they bring up TikTok and then they bring up COVID and you're immediately transported out of it and it feels try hard and cringe.
