And if you're way ahead, it feels great.
But eventually, if there are incumbents in your market, they come in.
And the faster you capture the market and move up market, the less time you give them to sort of realize what's going on and catch on.
And so often five, six, seven years in the life of a startup, you're actually competing with incumbents suddenly and they just kill you with distribution or other things.
And so I think people really missed the mark.
And you could argue that was kind of Slack versus Teams.
That was um, you know, there's a few companies I won't name, but I feel like they're so proud of their profitability and they kind of blew up.

What did you actually need to invest money behind?
