And it's very dangerous because it leads to, it led to several instances of me isolating myself after that incident I told you about when I was at the IFTTT and there was the good, the bad and the ugly incident.
I was due to go to an event the following week and I stayed at home crying.
It was actually the VIP Style Awards, which ironically I won one of them last week, which I never thought would happen for someone my size, to be quite honest.
I stayed home crying because I couldn't face that sort of scrutiny and that sort of judgment and the malicious nastiness again.
And that was before social media was prevalent.
Can you just imagine what people do now?
Yeah, you know, it's hard to listen to that from anybody, but you have to look at who's feeding that into anybody.
You have to have a really strong support system around yourself and people say, yes, you are beautiful, you're fabulous, you're wonderful the way you are.
And try and encourage that because, you know.
putting at her age putting herself under that amount of pressure it's only going to lead to decades of misery and i mean decades of misery so anyone who does come up and say that to her or anybody else tends to start off and mind their own business i mean the fact that anyone has two legs two arms that are working your skin isn't good condition you don't have any chronic diseases that are hurting you your brain is working your body is working your eyesight i mean we're so privileged to be in these vessels that we walk around in and i think that needs to be hammered home or health
and happiness rather than what's the way we look.
I'm always, I like dressing up in nice clothes, nice makeup and nice hair.
But I'm more appreciative of the vessel I'm in now and keeping it healthy rather than looking just purely for aesthetic reasons.
You know, it's not, I wouldn't even say it's a confidence, it's a resignation that this is going to happen.
