okay and in my head really because i was so i was i you know i didn't care for anybody else only myself i just thought okay i'll do this to get him off my back and then i'll go back at it then so i rang the woodland center and i spoke to a chap clive in the rotland center and he he just said to me okay and come for an assessment the following week but he said you'd have to be clean and stay clean and then and i said yeah i'll do that for you and he's like no no you need to do this for yourself so kind of from there

I kind of went to the Rutland Centre the following week.

I was on a lot of medication from my doctor as well.

So I wasn't totally clean.

I was clean of cocaine.

And then I went to the Rutland Centre and we had the assessment and they said to me, OK, you'll have to see the doctor because of the list of medication I was actually on.

So two days later, I went and I spoke to the doctor in the Rutland Centre and

He advised me either I could do a detox in a detox centre or detox at home under the supervision of my doctor and himself.

So I remember leaving the Rutland Centre that day, David, and I begged my husband not to send me in there, please.

I promised him.

But for many years, I had promised my husband and my kids that I wouldn't take drugs.

And I just broke them promises.

So when I promised my husband that day, them promises fell on deaf ears.

And that's where it all began.

That's where the start of my detox began.

And I detoxed for six weeks.

And then after that, then I went back to the doctor in the Rutland Centre.

And the detox was dreadful, might I add.

It was absolutely horrible.

It was horrendous.
