You know, you can do all these things for yourself, you know.
Um but like Maudie Sars, you can buy yourself flowers, the whole you know, all of that.
You can all do all of that for yourself.
And once you can do all of that for yourself, you know, you'll never attach your happiness to anybody or anything because you h own your own happiness and you've the key to that.
And I think that's very important and um that's where I get a lot of my comfort from.
Yeah, and to see see to see my kids now like my eldest is a year done in college.
Uh junior circles done in the house, first year is done, and to think of the times I sat in the couch broken going, How am I going to do it?
and they're absolutely thriving and very, very happy.
And they're proud of you doing this podcast.

And I think that's what used to make me so emotional because you know, obviously you kinda re you you're resurfacing a story and they were like, Mom, it's your time.
We're so proud of you if it helps families, Mom, do it.
And do you know, it's bought the conversation up for us at home again.
You know, to kinda talk things out and to open up about it, take it out from underneath the carpet, put it up on the table, and if you want to chat I'm here.
Because the day of stuff being under the carpet now is well and truly over.

You know, we have to have these open conversations because the more time we have these conversations and we open up about mental health, about abuse, about addiction and all of these things, start talking about them because
There isn't a home in this country that one of those things hasn't touched.
