But there's nothing in none of these rooms, and then the officers made their way up to one of the upstairs rooms, which is known in this case as Room 1.
As they entered Room 1, it was just as dark as the rest of the manor, to be honest, but there was something different about this room.
There was a strong smell of blood.
in the air.
Just one officer walked forward into that room and he had a quick look around, although it was very dark and he noticed something laying on the ground, kind of more towards the window.
So he walked towards it and as he did, he started to make out what this thing on the floor was.
And he said that it was either a mannequin or something terrible.
He called the rest of the team up to the room with him where they all came in and shone their torches.
And that was when they discovered the body of 14-year-old Anna Creajal.
She was found almost completely naked.
She was only wearing her socks and she was absolutely covered in dried blood.
The officers could tell just by looking at her that Anna Creajal had been subjected to a horrific, brutal attack.
At first police actually thought there was like a piece of material draped over Anna's face but on a closer look they realised that it was actually just her hair that was all matted with dried blood in it.
She had blue tape around her neck when her body was found and actually three of her fingers were found like pushed underneath it as if she was trying to get herself free from it.
Most of the injuries that she had sustained were to her head and her neck and kind of her chest as well.
They were later identified in her autopsy to be blunt force trauma wounds.
So it was confirmed that Anna was beaten very, very severely and with some kind of heavy weapon as well.
And police actually found said murder weapon in that room.
In fact, they found two.
There were two weapons used on her.
