Boy B insisted to the police that he had no idea that Boy A was gonna murder Anna.
He didn't think he was being serious.
He didn't know what Boy A's plan was, but he definitely didn't think it was murder.
But I would just like to call his bluff there for a second.
He literally told the police at the start of this interview four days ago that he had had a conversation with his friend where Boy A had specifically said that he wants to murder Anna Creajal.
So I don't know how Boy B can even say this.
He obviously knew what Boy A wanted with Anna on that day.
He knew what he was luring Anna into.
When Boy B knocked on her door that day, he knew exactly what was gonna happen to her.
and he did it anyway.
So now that Boy B was finally talking a little bit more openly about this case, police felt like they could probably squeeze a bit more information out of him and so they decided to print off all the crime scene photos and present them to him and just see what his reaction was, see what he said about them.
And he was actually very startled to see one of the pictures of Anna's body when she was found and she had that tape on her neck.
because he said he recognised that tape.
Boy B said that it was his father's tape that he'd actually borrowed from the garage that same week and lent it to Boy A so that Boy A could fix one of his toys at home.
So Boy A was in possession of that tape when it ended up around Anna Creasal's neck.
Meanwhile, of course, at the same time that this is going on, Boy B's questioning, Boy A is also being questioned at a different police station and he has no idea that Boy B has started to tell the truth and so Boy A is very much still sticking with the original story that they met Anna in the park and he let her down gently and then he went home to do his homework or something.
Obviously, the police knew that it was all crap.
They knew that he was lying to them because they'd already got the forensic evidence of his boots back that had her blood all over them.
But the evidence was actually even more damning than that.
Like even more than just having blood on your shoes, they got a blood analyst in to actually look at the blood pattern on the shoes and they could tell from that that boy A was the one inflicting the injuries on Anna because of the way that the blood had splashed on him.
