but there was something else weird about this case.

Some of the reports say that there were signs that he'd been smothered, yet that wasn't looked into.

What?

What do you actually mean?

Signs that a child has been smothered, but it wasn't looked into?

I believe because they were so understaffed and they didn't have time to look into that.

But how serious is that?

And they didn't look into it.

But yeah, like I said, he never had another attack after those two and he was able to leave the hospital relatively recovered.

The next child was named Christopher King and very similarly to Becky Phillips, he had caught this stomach bug.

He was vomiting, diarrhea.

It was really, really severe.

And so he was admitted to the hospital to just try and get his fluids up.

He was left under the care of Nurse Beverly Allitt for a couple of hours, just while his parents were out speaking to the other doctors.

And when they returned to his bedside, Christopher was very unwell.

Just minutes later, he actually stopped breathing completely and turned blue.

But Nurse Beverly Allitt was on the case.

She rushed to his bedside, managed to resuscitate him, managed to get him pretty much fully recovered.

And after that, Christopher King was completely fine.

He never suffered anything like that ever again.
