So again, his story is kind of the same thing in that he left pretty much straight away and didn't see anything.
He didn't see how Anna left the park that night.
He didn't know what happened to her after that.
So police decided to use kind of a different tactic here to get a little bit more information out of boy B. They decided to take him down to the park and make him walk the route that he'd walked with Anna.
So they started this route and he walks them into the park.
He walks them over to this bench where he was sat with her.
And I think some like
tracks, like bike tracks or something where they stood for a little while and then he was out and then I left.
So, wasn't very helpful.
Unfortunately, there were no security cameras in these particular areas of the park where they'd like stopped and talked and sat on a bench and stuff like that so there was no way of confirming what he was saying, so...
like I said, kind of useless.
So yeah, the walk in the park was kind of uneventful, but police did now know that they had another boy involved.
There was another suspect.
When I say suspect, at this point they were just people of interest.
They genuinely seemed just like Anna's friends who were the last people to see her on the day that she went missing.
They weren't necessarily suspicious of these boys.
But yeah, they had this second boy now.
They managed to find out his name, his address, and they went down and spoke to him too.
But again, he said the same thing, that he didn't know what happened to Anna.
He kind of said the same story as boy B. He said that he was gonna meet up with Anna to let her down gently.
