I was just jumped the other night by some older boys.

In fact, he claimed that he was jumped on the night of Anna's disappearance in that park.

And as soon as the police heard this, they were very intrigued for a number of reasons.

First of all, if there were two lads in St.

Catharines Park that were clearly very violent to be jumping a 13-year-old boy, could they also have had something to do with Anna's disappearance?

So police were interested to find these two lads that had jumped Boy A, so they got to work on that separately to try and identify these people.

But also, they were intrigued for another reason because

What if he was lying?

What if Boyer was lying?

What if he got these injuries another way that he obviously didn't want police to know about?

And so he made up this story about being jumped.

I don't know.

There was a lot to unpack here.

And so police got to work.

So they questioned him kind of separately about this incident, about him being jumped.
