They were now looking very suspicious.

And so they decided to take them back to the police station for questioning.

But in the meantime, a missing persons public appeal was set up for Anna Creasal.

They were making these posters, putting her all over the news.

And the leads started to pour in.

This was actually quite a high profile case in the area at the time.

People were calling in with

potential sightings of her saying that they'd seen her at a sewage plant or saying that they'd seen her in the airport.

Police followed up on every single one of these potential sightings but all of them were explained away.

None of them were Anna Creasal.

But anyway, now the boys were back at the police station and they were now being questioned in a formal setting as suspects.

Just want to remind you these are two 13 year old boys.

1, 3, 13, children.

And it was in these interviews where things just started to get more and more suspicious by the second.

So one of the first questions that both the boys were asked in their separate questionings was, how would you describe your relationship with the other boy?

Boy B said that he only really knew Boy A through school and that they were just acquaintances, they were just kind of in each other's class.

Whereas Boy A told the police that Boy B was his best friend.

So one of yous is lying.

And it was there at the police station as well where one particular officer noticed something about boy A. He was limping and he kept holding his arm as if he was like in pain.

So the detectives asked him if he was okay.
