The uncomfortable truth is that your good-looking neighbor, your good-looking, or I hate to use the word good-looking because that's oversimplified.
Your neighbor whom you like and trust, your boss...
whomever, all those people could potentially be a serial killer in their off hours.
And that's that gaslighting of the people around them, convincing them that they're a good guy.
Right.
What the movie is portraying.
Anyone who thinks by the end of the movie I'm glamorizing them has just got to have their head examined because by the end of the movie he admits to having cut –
the head off of his last victim, which is what the Lily Collins character wanted to.
And Lily has this flashback of all the little clues along the way.
Now, you know, we've all had that experience where you notice something is off subconsciously, but you don't really pay attention to it.
But then when you realize the truth, you know, Oh, that person's cheating on me.
Oh, Oh my God.
then a flood of images that you interpreted one way come back to you now with their truth.
You know, you know, it's funny.
I mean, I just think it's generally, I think there's a certain group of people who obviously love this stuff.
And there's a certain group of people who just have a knee jerk reaction that true crime shouldn't be made, that any attempt to tell that story is glamorization.
And as I said before, we don't tell people not to make stories about X, Y, or Z. Why would we avoid telling stories about one of the most fundamental aspects of
