Chicago is about two women in 1920s Chicago who aim to become stars by becoming murderers.
And it's, you know, about the American justice system.
But it is brilliantly snarky and satirical.
And every single song.
See, one of the things I love in a cast album is when there are no duds.
I don't think Chicago has a single dud.
And it's a perfect show.
I mean, they canned a lot of the songs that they wrote and they whittled it down to the ones that were.
And it just jumps off.
Well, they did the work.
So Chicago's a great start.
To me, the most romantic musical of all time and on record is a very little known one these days called The Most Happy Fella.
