And I thought, wow, like it's literal.

She's five at the time.

Everything is literal to this child.

And when the police said they had found her and they identified her, Lily said, why didn't the policemen bring mommy home?

They found her.

She she was gone and she was lost.

And Lily would say she couldn't find food.

So she died of the hunger.

That's why she had an art therapist who was extremely helpful in teaching her how to regulate, before she was nine, those angry feelings.

She gave her a lot of therapeutic tasks that were revolved around art.

She was very angry.

So like, of course, her mom is gone, who was very active in her life.

She doesn't understand what's happening.

And then I didn't understand until like, oh, okay, well, my mom didn't have that.

And why didn't they bring her home?

They found her.

I was like, wow, like, I don't know how to do this.

She has to have a therapist because they're going to understand how to talk to her at her age.

And throughout, so she kept a therapist through high school.

My mom wanted to keep all that media stuff away from Lily when she was younger, which made me, you know, want to be protective all that time too.
