Maybe something horrible happened to him that just did something to his brain.
I don't want to say I felt sorry for him, but something made me feel like, wow, some terrible stuff must have happened.
Because I don't know if evil is born.
I don't think I believe that you're just born that kind of evil.
Something in his life must have happened.
And of course, I was angry.
I was then angry that he
didn't just say he did it right in the beginning and that he made us suffer even more after the police made us suffer for years.
And is he getting some kind of pleasure out of this and happy and relieved that we've come to this state?
I felt it was scripted when he said, oh, I'm sorry, nothing I can say is going to make any difference.
It was just like somebody told him to say.
Like Lily had said it in her statement, like you did this to your family too.
You weren't even thinking about your own family.
Is there a conscious there?
