And then you find out a month later that some other problems are going on with the company's performance as well.
And then all of a sudden they start caring.
But I think if those who are really watching closely would have started to wonder what those earlier problems may have pretended.

Yes, that's right.
On December 3rd, the Friends page on Netflix had a warning to viewers that the show wouldn't be available anymore after the end of 2018.
And there was a bit of a panic.
Where are we going to watch our Friends episodes now?
And then it came out on the next day, the 4th, that Netflix would continue its licensing deal with WarnerMedia, now owned by AT&T, and the show would continue to be available on Netflix through 2019.
That's right.
I think they're guarding against risk.
They are currently, you know, still entangled with the Department of Justice over their acquisition of WarnerMedia, formerly Time Warner.
The Justice Department is appealing that decision.
So I think they don't want to be looking like they're flexing their newfound power over consumers too openly right now.
And, you know, they also get a lot of cash from the licensing deal.
So they're looking to launch a new streaming service next year.
They've taken on a lot of debt with the new acquisition.
So why not take a nice check from Netflix?
That's right.
It's pretty amazing.
