I think that these are really eternal, like, you know, lifelong principles that are really rooted in.
and everything.
So in terms of like a daily practice, I would say, I think Ryan just had mentioned this, of really creating that space from when something happens to your reaction.
Right?
I mean, I've definitely had my name on some things.
Yeah.
From some unhappy employees and customers and kids and all the things.
But yeah, it is a practice.
Now, I would never say that I have done it perfectly or I am, you know, some, I don't know what a perfect stoic would even look like.
Or you say... Yeah.
I mean, you get back into the higher part of your brain instead of the survival brain that's saying how... I've got to defend myself.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Of how can I align this with my highest self, with my most virtuous self, with the person who I want to be that I'm not yet.
I do.
So when I got off that roller coaster, definitely helped with the unnecessary suffering, creating that kind of internal steadiness.
But on the flip side, I would say it has flattened just a little bit of that like intensity and drive and motivation that used to drive me.
And I would say like I wouldn't trade it back, but I'm wondering, is that a necessary trade-off?
Or can I remain grounded and feel deeply driven still?
Or do you have to give some of that up, some of that ego?
