It turns out she had terminal cancer.
She wasn't it wasn't h a healthy weight loss, but people associate being skinny with being healthy.
um and being overweight with being unhealthy but I just think you should always check in with the people around you and your friends if there's any change, whether it's weight gain or weight loss, just to check in with them and and make sure that they're okay and don't comment on people.
Yeah.
And that's my biggest thing.
People used to say to me, while we eat a burger
But I remember I always used to think you would never say that same thing but flips to another person.
You wouldn't say I'd lay off the burgers 'cause everyone says, I'm a bit harsh But because everyone thought it was like a way to help me, they'd say it and it and it didn't help.
It made me think, Well you wait next time you see me I'm gonna be even smaller 'cause I'm not gonna eat anything 'til you next see me.
Um but I you know, I I had to learn that food is fuel.
Um I I soon after got a stress fracture in my knee and I think it's 'cause I didn't have any muscle on on my body.
I wasn't getting selected for England because I wasn't confident in the contact area.
Um like when I was getting tackled I'd lose the ball and I was scared to make tackles.
Um and I felt I felt small, like I felt weak.
Um so then I, you know, made that decision to leave the sevens.
After being made redundant I
decided to take a fifteens contract and say no to the Tokyo Olympics.
And that was one of the biggest decisions of my life.
And it probably caused a lot of stress as well.
Um and I yeah, I decided to put that aside and then I wasn't even getting selected.
