Holy shit.
OK, so watching this team prepubescent.
I think this is fascinating, right?
It goes back to the book.
This is a group of kids who haven't gone through puberty yet.
And boys and girls are playing together.
And they're beating team after team after team that have all boys.
So my kid did not have to put down his competitiveness at all.
In fact, he was on the team that was winning.
And watching these girls...
I could see in their bodies that they were fighting being socialized to be docile.
You know, it's like being on this team with boys.
It was holding that off.
It was putting it off a little bit longer because they were holding their own with boys against boys.
They were just as fast.
They were just as strong.
They were just as skilled.
And it was fascinating to watch just a bunch of fifth grade bodies who hadn't been through puberty yet be a little bit genderless on that
field but then when you add the layer of society like those girls were just standing up taller and what is it teaching those boys about girls you that's what I was just gonna say so it's like that's what I'm clear of what I'm developed like what got developed in my child during that season yeah is like he didn't have to trade one for the other I'm from Minnesota
We love the Timberwolves.
