And I think that then get intimidated by folks who are awake and alive and making choices on purpose and questioning the system.
Yes.
They try to snuff that out to soothe themselves and their asleepness.
There's a little version of that that I didn't even know was there in terms of like this is like a kind of a new frontier for our society where like I do think we're doing a better job of like thinking about how interesting and cool your gender is and your sexuality is.
Well, I think our sex is too, you know, and sort of really have to be like I was assigned female at birth because of my external genitalia.
I identify as a woman.
I'm going to kind of like think through that and like claim it.
And then then then how I can be an active cis person who's looking at the numbers and seeing these trans kids are scared.
Yeah.
And there's something I can do about it.
Numerically, they need some of us to care.
So I don't need to change everybody's mind.
Do you know, it's very clear to me, like when I see somebody tighten up around it and we're not talking about what we're really talking about.
If I say like, let's have a conversation about fairness, if the person backs away, right, versus like, yeah.
So that's what's been so beautiful about this project is where I do think we are asking the right questions.
Is it fair?
Is it safe?
How do we support girls and women?
Those are just the questions I want to be asking.
Banning trans athletes isn't the answer.
