One of the things I love about your show, Don, is like I get to be like the nerdy part of myself.
All human beings want to think of themselves as a good person.
So what we do when we do bad things is we engage in this thing called moral disengagement, which is I can't be a bad person as this organization is saying, because I believe myself to be a good person.
Now rather than reconcile that in and of self.
He's gonna justify why he's doing it.
So I did this bad thing by calling out all these black athletes and black coaches, et cetera, et cetera.
Um, I did this thing because they deserved it.
That's moral disengagement.
I'm finding a way to justify why I take the position I take rather than saying maybe the position I took was wrong.
And another thing that he and uh Brandon Tatum have in common.
Is there's another idea.

Where you have a reality, we call it naive reality.
Where it's like I've taken this position so hard.
