There's nothing anti-racist about it.

Anti-racist is you are actively taking actions to confront and address racism.

And they're absolutely not doing that in this interview when they

Absolutely should be.

All they have to do is acknowledge we can see why the black community is experiencing this as as racially traumatic because of the history in this area.

This happens to not be one of those situations, and here are the reasons why.

But we see why the black community is behaving this way.

But they did not say that.

They actually are criticizing the black community, and they're criticizing people who have this narrative instead of acknowledging where it is coming from.

Black people are very reasonable and very sane to be questioning why things like this would happen in Mississippi, of all places in the United States.

And when you do get

gaslighting, a component of that is always criticizing the reasonable lived experience and expression of that lived experience of another person.

And it is a terrible thing to do, especially in this situation, especially with the hurting that that community must be going through and especially with the hurting that family is dealing with, right?
