My grandmother and my aunt, three of the most prominent people in my life were black women.
But that doesn't give me the right to say, because I was raised by strong black women, I now can give an informed opinion on what it's like to live in the world as a strong black woman.
Uh, because there is a distance between even though I was raised by them.
I have an informed opinion, but I don't have an informed opinion above their own.
So him trying to educate Jasmine Crockett.
Who, regardless of what you agree with or don't agree with, is a brilliant legal mind who has worked incredibly hard to be where she is.
And he doesn't seem to lead with that.
He seems to be able to think, I can tell you what you should have said, instead of recognizing this attorney is brilliant.
And has worked very hard to get the position she's in.
So perhaps she knows more to speak on these topics than I do.
And then the last thing I will say goes back to the original thing.
We have to hold Donald Trump accountable.
And there have been lots of black women.
Jamel Hill stands out to me as an example.
Um d who speak to the truth.
Like Donald Trump is doing racist things.
