And the thing is, like, you know, like there's things you control and there's things you don't control.
I think the one thing is when I look at him, I see a guy who cares a lot.
I see a guy who does everything he can to win.
He's all about winning.
And I just believe that by the time it's all over, it's going to happen.
Now, I understand that it's not easy.
People want it to happen now, and it's been so close, it hurts even more when it doesn't happen.
The one thing I do think from an Oilers point of view, and I do think this is a thing that they have wrestled with and how can they make it better, and maybe even McDavid has to work on this too, is that
they have to carve out more of an identity on the deaf players on the roster.
Absolutely.
And I think, because when you look at, and everybody in Edmonton hates the Panthers, and I understand it, but you look at the Panthers and that third line, well, last year was a bit different.
It was Lundell, Listerine, and they got Marchand.
And you had that fourth line with Greer and Sturm and Gajewicz.
Actually, it was Greer, Gajewicz, and I can't remember who the center was now.
But, like, those guys had legit roles.
And I think that Edmonton is true.
No check, right.
And sometimes it was Sturm, but no check was there, too.
But, you know, I think that's the thing.
