So I was on with Maddie and Mike last, I think last week or the week before.

The weeks are starting to blend together, Kyle.

It's early.

The regular season hasn't even started yet, and the weeks are starting to blend together.

But I had heard that, and I'd said on the air that I think some of the expansion is farther along than everyone's willing to admit.

I got a couple of really interesting calls about that.

And I'll just say that, you know, one of our early pods, we talked about my theory of expansion, new TV deal, the commissioner moves into a lesser role, Bill Daley steps in, the deputy commissioner.

I just had a couple of people say to me, not so fast.

Not so fast.

And so I'm just I'm curious to see what's going to come out of this meeting.

Are we because because remember, the Houston Austin thing was supposed to be a six month plan, right?

Well, we're coming up on three.

So we're halfway through it.

I, like I said, someone just said, not someone, a couple people just said to me, don't run too far ahead here.

So I think we're going to find out if, like, again, it's one of those things that becomes, Kyle, you know, when they first announced the Houston Austin idea, there were some reports that there were owners who were against this and there wasn't unanimous support.

I don't think Bettman ever does anything without knowing the executive committee is 10 of his owners.

I don't think he does anything without knowing they're on side, but I just had a couple of people say to me that, and I remember at the time I said, okay, people say it.

And then when it really comes down to it, Bettman gets what he wants.

I've just heard this time again, there's some opposition.

I think we're going to find out on Tuesday how serious that opposition is or isn't.
