Um, and you know, they, they needed somebody who could win a face off.
So, you know, they, they liked them.
And this year he got a four year extension at 2.25 million.
And the last couple of years, I think he has a 10 team clause.
And I know why Anaheim is doing this because they spent so much money this year on a couple of guys.
They need their depth guys locked in.
They need some cost certainty.
Plus he's a good player.
Washington got 10 teams.
You would think that that would be the kind of situation where Anaheim could say, we're not giving you any kind of a clause.
They didn't.
They gave them some control.
I just think at the end of the day, if we ever get to a situation where this is going to be under control, it's going to be because they make it a CBA thing and Bettman or Daly or whoever does it.
