And I remember the one thing I do remember from that was the girls were amazing and I stayed on with the team after I got injured and they insisted on me walking out and singing the anthem with them before the game.
I remember like because I didn't have to run off the field to get ready to play.
I just stood there for a second and I like did a, like I lifted my head and did like a full 360 around the stadium and the G's, like the cauldron kind of thing.
And I was just like, oh my God.
Like, and I remember feeling quite emotional and being like, oh, I'd love to feel what that would be like to bowl a ball out in the middle today or like hit a ball.
Like it just wasn't, it wasn't written, written like that for me.
And that's like, yeah, it's not something that I guess I dwell on.
Um, cause I still had some amazing experiences, but yeah, it was, it was a tough one.
Yeah, it's amazing.
It's phenomenal how far it's come.
It's also not like in the sense of like, I guess, like the way that society has shifted and there's been so much change and growth in that space.
And I think sometimes sport mirrors or even like precedes like a general change in society.
And I think the role that women play more broadly is so much more evolved and advanced than, you know, what it used to be.
And in terms of equality, like there's been no better time to be a female in lots of respects.
But specifically from a sports perspective, like to kind of live that out as easily, like my biggest career highlight is to just like to have kind of been fortunate enough to play in an era that's seen that transition and growth.
And one of the coolest things about it is like now when we play games, you know, at the end of a game around the fence,
There's the same amount of young girls and boys lining up to meet the players and get an autograph or a picture.
And I think about that like 10 years down the track, they're going to be 18, 19, 20, talking to their mates about what they want to do on Friday night.
And I'd just be like...
