Maybe the same thing as like meeting people outside of the show.
Like you kind of bring this persona because like that's probably what they want.
And that is like to me that's a bit like, oh, I've just lost a part of myself doing that.
So it still feels like work.
Whereas I think all the best parts of life are like just genuine interactions.
And often like friends...
you know, that you make, you need, like you need, like, well, I find these days anyway, I connect with people because there's just this sense of like, oh my gosh, there's something in the air.
Like we're just like connecting and for whatever reason, your energy and my energy and.
I haven't touched on what you do or who, like, like what your job is and you haven't touched on that, but like, we're just like finding all these crazy, like things to talk about and like be interested in each other.
Um, but it's hard to contrive that just happens rarely.
That was awesome.
Yeah, I mean, look, it's sort of a weird experience, all of that, actually.
Because on one hand, like the whole moment and like period of time for that World Cup and particularly the final where we had like nearly 90,000 people at the MCG for the final, which was like completely like unheard of for women's cricket at that time and like a real watershed moment.
Just that moment or that period was so much bigger than any game that like
part of me was like just like amazed to be a part of that and it wasn't really about playing or being involved in it and maybe that like kind of in some ways kind of softened the blow of not playing in it and just experiencing it and seeing it as like this amazing moment for so many people and like everyone owned it and also completely didn't own it like it was just it was so cool
But, yeah, like on the other hand, like missing out on something that you would desperately love to be involved in.
Yeah, it was kind of bittersweet, I guess.
