I'm a gnarly cricket player.
But, yeah, so I think that that can sometimes feel like β
Yeah, it takes out, like, the genuineness of a conversation.
Yeah, it's like when someone asks you a question and I think they already have an answer in their head and you don't deliver that answer, I like see the disappointment on someone's face.
Oh, it's a great question.
Oh, you must be, um, you must be really excited about, um, that game coming up and I'll be like, oh yeah, like it'd be, it'd be good, I think.
But like, um, I dunno, like I'll just downplay it or whatever.
And they're like, yeah.
how can you not be excited about that game?
And I'm like, I haven't thought about that game.
And I don't know, that's a terrible example.
Yeah, and I think it's just like that you've got this idea of me and now you've got the real me and there's a big disconnect there.
And I'd probably rather talk to you about not cricket, but that's what you want to talk to me about.
So then like trying to find that, or I'm more interested in you than talking to you about like, you know, I don't know.
Yeah, and then I think really in that situation, like the best thing to do is just actually match that person's expectations and excitement because I think that would probably be the kind thing to do.
But then is it like genuine?
So then it drains you a bit.
