Like, you know, you know, when you turn up to your, your family's house or you see mom and dad and you're just like,
Walk away from it and you're like, damn it.
Like I was not as good a daughter as I could have been just saying, cause I was distracted by X, Y, Z. And I know that they love me unconditionally.
So I just let my guard down.
Um, but then that's, that's how you showed up that day.
Like what can you do other than.
Yeah, keep trying.
Yeah, and I think the thing that I struggle with is that my parents are just the most incredibly amazing β
unbelievable people are so forgiving and they just accept me for how I turn up.
And maybe that is what gives me the capacity like in the broader world to go out and, and try really hard to be that open kind of gracious, hopefully like nice person, which I'm not all the time.
Like, and that's the point that's because I'm a human, but we're all flawed.
But yeah, I think mum and dad have always given me that space.
Even when I chucked a tantrum in the nets with Dad when I was a kid, when he was throwing me balls.
I was probably thinking, why have I brought her down here again?
How old were you then?
Oh, that makes me nervous.
Well, firstly, you sound like an amazing dad, but I think it's just that.
It's just going along for the ride with each other and not having some, I guess, grand plan of where that's going to end up.
