I know a lot of people turn their head away from COVID shows.

COVID is a massive part of this, but stick with me.

So they play characters called Emily and Ryan.

They are kind of like bus buddies in the sense where when you take the same bus route all the time, you kind of feel like everyone on the bus is your friend.

Yeah.

And they're like the hottest ones on the bus, obviously.

So they kind of like smile at each other, flirt with each other, say hello.

It's very, very cutesy.

Then the pandemic hits.

And then they don't see each other for two years.

They bump into each other two years later.

You see what I did there?

Yeah.

This is like not a spoiler because it all happens like in the first start of the first episode.

Ryan proposes to Emily.

He's like, I've been thinking about you a lot.

And he's just like, just give me eight dates to see if this will work.

And she's a crazy girl because she's like, okay, you have eight dates.

And then the rest of the episodes, each episode's a date.

For them to figure out whether they're like compatible and can get married.
