I was like, oh, Jamison Tyone's not really having any issues early in this game.
I was like, has Jamison Tyone, is he going to get through this without giving up a home run?
And then the fifth inning happened.
I was like, oh no, Jamison Tyone's still very much Jamison Tyone.
He gave up a Tyone.
And there's a deep drive to left and that's a tie ball game.
It really was.
But I love how
the Cubs immediately answered in the top of the sixth.
And just to have Pete Carl Armstrong, you know, go deep in back-to-back games.
But my favorite part of this game is, if you've watched the whole series, right, up and in has been a thing to Cubs hitters.
Like, the whole team has...
significantly been affected by pitches that have come inside and hard and fast.
And Matt Shaw embodied that in the eighth inning in that he had not one but two pitches.
Kind of send him on the move, right?
And what's the best way to answer when a pitcher's doing that to you?
Well, just take him yard.
And that's what Matt Shaw did.
And it had me looking deep into the Matt Shaw stats.
